BENEFITS OF EXOSOMES
Exosomes for Hair Growth
Exosomes are extracellular vesicles derived from stem cells.
During exosome therapy treatment, exosomes are injected into the scalp at 1mm depth. These exosomes are believed to be highly efficient in signaling hair follicles to grow because they contain growth factors, proteins, and genetic materials that influence cell behavior.
Exosomes are considered to be more potent in signaling change within the hair follicles due to the direct application of targeted growth factors. It might show results faster and with fewer treatments compared to PRP and PRF as it does not rely on your own body’s platelets.
Some of the benefits of utilising Exosome Therapy for hair growth includes:
-
Higher Efficacy:Due to their content and the way they function, exosomes may have a higher efficacy in promoting hair growth compared to traditional treatments like PRP. They directly target the signaling pathways that influence hair growth and follicle health.
-
Reduced Treatment Frequency: Exosome therapy may require fewer sessions compared to other treatments like PRP. Because of their potent effects, patients might see significant results sooner and with less frequent treatments.
- Safety and Efficacy: With a profile rich in natural growth factors, exosome therapy is safe and has been shown to be effective in promoting hair growth and thickness.
- Clinically Supported: Supported by clinical research, exosomes have demonstrated promising results in enhancing hair density and overall scalp health.

how it works
Reverse Hair Thinning
Unlock the potential of your hair with Exosome therapy!
The process usually begins with a consultation where your medical history and hair concerns will be discussed, and the professional will evaluate your hair loss pattern, possible causes, and suitability for exosome therapy. If exosome therapy is deemed suitable, the treatment area will be prepared. Once the area is prepared, the exosomes are micro needled into the scalp using a fine needle, ensuring even distribution of the exosomes. The exosomes contain growth factors and other molecules that help stimulate hair follicles, promote growth, and improve overall hair health.

Frequently Asked Questions
Exosomes are tiny extracellular vesicles that are derived from stem cells. These powerful vesicles play a crucial role in cell communication and are loaded with growth factors, proteins, and genetic materials. When applied to the scalp, exosomes act as messengers, promoting hair growth by rejuvenating hair follicles and stimulating cellular regeneration.
Our Exomide treatment harnesses the natural power of exosomes to target areas of thinning hair. The process involves:
- Scalp Preparation: Cleaning and preparing the scalp to receive the treatment.
- Exosome Application: Direct application of exosomes to the scalp, using precision techniques to ensure optimal placement.
- Activation and Recovery: The exosomes work to activate the hair follicles’ regenerative processes, encouraging new growth and revitalizing existing hair.
Here’s a list of ingredients typically found in exosome treatments for hair:
- Exosome Concentration: 10 Billion
- Amino Acids (17 types): Includes lysine, phenylalanine, valine, leucine, isoleucine, threonine, methionine, histidine, arginine, glycine, serine, proline, tyrosine, cysteine, alanine, aspartic acid, glutamic acid.
- Peptides (6 types): Palmitoyl pentapeptide-4, palmitoyl tripeptide-1, hexapeptide-9, acetyl hexapeptide-8, tripeptide-1, copper tripeptide-1.
- Plant Extracts: Pine needle, cypress leaf, arborvitae leaf, ginkgo leaf, and Ecklonia Cava.
These ingredients are combined to leverage their regenerative properties, enhancing hair growth and scalp health.
Exosome treatment is particularly suitable for individuals experiencing early signs of hair thinning or those looking for a non-surgical approach to hair restoration. It can benefit those who have not responded well to other forms of treatment and are seeking a natural, minimally invasive solution. The therapy is also suitable for those looking to enhance the overall health and appearance of their hair, making it an option for virtually anyone interested in improving hair density and scalp vitality.
It can take anywhere between 3- 6 months to see visual improvement following PRP treatment. Results are based on a range of factors such as age, genetics, and the quality of your plasma.
Your hair follicles are not all in the same phase at once, some of them are in the anagen phase, while others are in the catagen or regressing telogen or resting phase.
Just like any hair loss treatment, results are not permanent.
However, after the initial package and treatments, our patients come back for maintenance sessions once every 3 – 6 months.
Before exosome hair treatment, it’s typically recommended to keep the scalp clean and avoid using any hair products that might interfere with the treatment. After the treatment, patients should avoid washing their hair for at least a day to allow the scalp to absorb the exosomes fully. It’s also advisable to avoid vigorous physical activity or anything that might cause excessive sweating, which could potentially affect the treatment area. Always follow the specific pre- and post-care instructions provided by your healthcare professional to ensure the best results.
Exosome hair treatment is generally considered safe, but like all medical procedures, it carries some risks. These can include infection at the injection site, inflammation, and allergic reactions to the components used in the exosome preparation. There is also a possibility of disappointing results if the treatment doesn’t achieve the expected hair growth.
As PRP is a natural treatment using your body’s naturally occurring plasma, not everyone gets the same result, hence why results cannot be guaranteed.
From experience, clients with Androgenetic Alopecia, Alopecia Aretha and Telogen Eluvium, achieve visible results usually within the first 3-4 months. The process of follicular miniaturisation (hair loss) occurs over the course of many years; thus rejuvenation of the follicles is not a quick process.
Existing catagen and telogen hairs (hair in the rest phase) will need to shed first before new healthier anagen hairs (hair in growth phase) grow. This is why you may notice additional shedding after your initial PRP treatments.
Generally, the earlier treatment is begun, the faster and more effective the results are. New hair growth is seen in almost all cases of pattern hair loss, but the extent of satisfaction will also depend on the individual. There are some individuals who respond well – and then there are those who don’t respond as well and may need additional or alternative treatment.
